Cruise control on a BG5 - whos fitted one?

yes i used the search first

anyone fitted a factory cruise control unit and associated components from a Bg5 with cruise to a BG5 that doesent have cruise?

Wiring diagram maybe??

can anyone tel me where the cruise module (controller) is located?

I have googled the numbers of the unit i hv found, but no good info found.

The unit has a 16 pin plug numbers 301-00205 4418

its a 93 -94 GT legacy

well i have scored the correct wiring diagram, ALL colours match up. ;D

To me it looks like you cud fit the cruise control components to any subaru.

It relies on the following inputs and switches:

- clutch switch (in series with the brake switch)

- brake switch

- horn

- speed sensor

- control unit (computer)

- hand controller (3 wires)

- actuator under the bonet (and associated components)

The control unit (computer has 4 wires out putting to the cruise actuator under the bonet.

Will do a full write up once/if i get it gng

Yeah i got all the components for doing mine, except my computer is out of a BF, a certain ginger told me it'll be the same and work.

I'm dead keen on getting mine installed too. Maybe we can organise a weekend or something, i can come meet yah at last.

Ah, only components i lack are the brake and clutch switches.

I have no garage, or carport, and park on the street. So, well, not very good for working on cars really. Gotta make sure the forecast is for SUN if you wanna come over here and play with cruise control
