i understand your reasoning, but i dont want to plan something for 20 "maybe's" and have 3 people show up, would rather have 5 confirmed yes's and 10 show up.

that is something im mgoing to remody, last time i was rep we got out numbers up quite high. no reason why it cant be done again, dunedin use to be the most active area

yeah everything has changed.. the first meet i went to there was like 10 or so people. that was like last year this time

Why not suggest a saturday for the cruise?? and don't make it a mystery cruise, coz that puts people off.

Dunedin's turned to shite coz there's too many drop kicks out there now.. and not many people are too keen to turn up (oooh yes i went there!).. but those are the facts.

If the numbers are up, i could be keen.. I think thats with the majority of the Dunedin crews thinking.. if they see a member they like turn up, they could be tempted to come.

the other problem is too many people say "i could be keen" and noone bites the bullet and says "YES im comming"

its been proven that mystery cruises dont put people off anywhere else. infact they usually get a higher responce than a "cruise to XYZ destination"

I guess its just easier to sit behind a computer and moan about having nothing to do...
