Rear diff side seals

does any one know where to get the rear diff seals from im sure i could get them genuine but they might have to import them have tried everywhere else and no luck please help

would suggest if u have tried everywhere else then subaru would be your best bet

have u tried precision bearings or SKF as these people specilise in seals and bearings

Looks like genuine will be the only way bugger time to get charged $30 each side

Don't forget to get the large o-rings that go around the seal holder. They leak more often than the seal does.

30 bucks a side is cheap... give seal imports a call, they will have the seals your after.

na just sucks being 17 on minimum wage trying to buy car parts every week oh well the car is close to being up and running now just need these seals exhaust welded and wof and reg then shes all go

seal imports (sil) have limited directional seals like the diff seals are, they are left and a right sided and are designed to run in one direction mostly (they assume you do most of your driving in forward gears) if you put in normal metal cased double lip seals , they leak , been there done that. just get genuine , cheaper in the long run , and yes get the orings that go under the caps, and dont loose the shims and keep the same shims on the same side.

Ive already had 8 or 9 cars in the 2 years that i have been able to drive (and 2 motorbikes). But the diff seals are all done now at a cost of 49.59 for the side seals and big o rings (its good to be in the trade ) thanks for the help guys

how hard is it to get the seal out? Is there a circlip to get he CV joint off? Does the axle slide out cleanly from the diff?

Gotta do the seal to the rear left of mine.

Gotta do the seal to the rear left of mine.

undo the bottom arms on the hub and prie or smack the axle out of hte diff it has a circlip it will pop out with some force.
