jus hada luk at my injectors and found they r yellows now i dont hav 2 buy sum but how was it that they were running with a green afm? and a (i think) standard ecu. the ecu is chiped now so is it necesary to upgrade afm 2 orange?

what turbo wud u recomend for a upgrade? ;D

Don't change the AFM unless you have the ECU to run it. If your current ECU has been chipped properly to run yellows, then it's most likely been written with your current AFM in mind.

As for fitting turbo's, it depends on if yours has the 90 degree intake or not?

No. Look at some of the bolt on's from the states i.e. GT3071 variants.

But it sounds like you want a TD04 running 8psi. Will come on real early and hold that boost all the way to redline.

do you know what type of turbo the 1992 wrx came out with? i ask because after i got the ecu chiped it now runs 15psi but it is not much better than when it was running 11psi, so maybe the turbo in it is better suited to run 11psi?

Its probably a TD04 that tapers off to 11psi at the top end anyway.

Have you got a bigger, free-flowing exhaust on it?

Its possible, with an aftermarket ECU mine made 15psi around 3500rpm and held it til redline but it still came on in a big rush, wasn't smooth at all.

i've been looking for an old possum link but every one i have seen has a rsroadq chip and not a wrxroadq chip, hope i find one because i want the power to come on in a big rush like you described but can't afford a g4, not on a forkhoist drivers wage anyway haha

yeah im beginning to wonder if it even matters which chip it has, rsroadq or wrxroadq i asked link on the forum they said im after wrxroadq chip for mine yeah its a 4 plug if i did buy this i would want the hand controller as well i think.
