boost problems

hi guys i hav a bg5 gt legacy dat has been kinda giving me boost problms but im not sure whats exactly wrong. i drove da car n it only boost only up to 6psi n wnt go higher......the car normally does 8 to 10 psi on the primary n 12 to 14 on the secondary......sumtyms it will boost normally n sumtym it wnt ......i hav chcked al da vacum hoses 4 leaks dea aint any leaks.....im thinkin its the solenoid box??.............pliz help me out.....

I think it's your lack of vowels that's causing the issue.

Tried checking for ECU codes?

thanks 4 the previous questions answer............ i will get da codes check....i noticed today wen my car gets to full boost the car stutters any reason y dat hapenss............it does it wen eva i drive it hardcore.....

i have two factory BOVs if this problem turns out to be leaky BOVs (of which is common)

Could be bovs also the solonoid box is very common in bg5s refurbish yours or buy one done.

id say, that your car miss fires,- thats english, because it will never had the plugs/coils changed in the last 200,000kms.

start with the basic shit first. it will teach you more than secondary school ever did.

Is it even possible to refurbish one of those box thingies?

Yes the solonoids in the box have air filters on them most of the time they are just blocked with crap, ive done 3 boxes now and it smooths out boost and cures code 66. Ya just need patience new vac hose clean solonoids and filters and i reccomend to replace all vac hose in engine bay they go hard from heat and crack. Most boost problems in tts are vacum related prick of an idea lol
