Is a VF22 really an upgrade from a VF23?

hahaha id be keen to lign a vf22 wrx up at the lights with my vf23...mine would own a vf22 off the mark....on open road in 5th gear with my front mount all chiller as cold i get 14psi at bout 3700 maybe 3800

The length of pipes doesn't make a difference 5th gear, low rpm, full throttle applications as there is going to be alot more time to pressurize the pipework cause it's not going to take off through the rev-range as quickly as if you were in 3rd gear (for example).

im not running the tap anymore....trying to flick it for some cash haha....it does come on eaelier i guess but not the wastegate open fully...wat i mean is i get full boost before 3700 but the gate opens at around 3700

um no...u can reach full boost in 5th without the gate open...specially if u start at 2800 rpm and floor it and let boost build....then gate opens wen there is excess boost being made....god people on this forum are quite up them selfs aye.....

if you've hit your "full boost" set by boost control, it will be letting through excess pressure to the wastegate spring/actuator and therefore start to open. but it may not be going whaaaaaaaaaaaa because i assume you have an external that is atmo vented. but it will be open. you're just making bugger all power therefore bugger all exhaust gas, so it doesn't make the noise fiasco.

the period of which the engine is at its equilibrium for spooling the turbo is very small when talking about very low boost levels such as 1bar.

yes this guy explains things alot better than me....hard to type on this little keyboard lol....i am running a 12 psi spring but i see about 12 to 14psi as i get more psi in higher gears more load etc

since i finally got the car on open road i did notice the vf23 is alot better in 1st 2nd but the 22 had alot more balls in top of 3rd going to 4th and pulling 4th

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
