Oil pressure guage

There's a couple of good spots. The most common is under the powersteering pump and is where the factory pressure sensor is located. Just need to use some t-pieces (1/8th NPT) to hook them up. The other is at the back of the block next to the crankcase breather, to find it, head straight back from the first spot as it is connected to the same gallery that runs back across the top of the block. Will need to find a reducing fitting the same as what the factory pressure sensor is screwed into to be able to use it though. Can be found from wreckers/old blocks/people spares....

+1 on this place, Mine is hooked up from there. Doesn't interfere with the factory sensor in anyway either

Just from a bit of knowledge.. Im running my accusump oil accumulator into the fitting by the crankcase breather, Its the best place to run the accusump into so i presume its the best place to run the guage into, and the thread is M18x1.5. :)

Oh and earls do a good adapter for that...

1/8th npt. or if you are getting a brass one, 1/8bspt will work as the thread is 1 thread pitch different ove 1 inch so just put some thread tape on it and wind it in. dont snap the sender off tho.

yes and no, the sealant can form hard lumps and drop into your oil gallerys, and you cant use instantly

the threadtape is soft, still wont be good for your oil pump etc but you can use it instantly.

but anerobic sealants like loctite are good for certain things.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
