GD adjusties into a gf8?

anyone know if its a huge job to get them to fit? I read with the stock shocks you can get them in by changing the tophats to early leg style?

was wondering how this would work with adjusties?

You have to change all the top hats. The rear ones are the same except one bolt is like 1cm further away on the GD.

The front top hats will fit but if you have adjustable camber plates they are on the wrong angle. The holes are completely different though so if you're keen I'm told you can just re-drill them.

You can even re-drill the strut tower in the rear but your cert guy will probably make you tack a body washer on top of the hole.

they dont fit....i spent an hour fucken around with my shocks and the definiatly need top hats changed....wonder if someone already changed ur tophats ej20t?

gd to gc8 (and vice versa):

front bolt up fine

need to change the rear top hats as gd ones are different

gd to bg/bd

strait fil all around and no need to change any top hats

as for camber angles - you can adjust them using the camber adjuster thing on the adjusties

but generally its not that bad and can be wheel alligned ok easily anyway

i have done the swap in the past and have had no issues at all
