Righto. We have had a bit of heated discussion about conduct etc in the forums of late. Here is the certified ODB guide of how to behave whilst on the forums here.

1. Do not give what thou art unwilling to receive.

Simply: Do not give it, if you cant take it.

2. Keep it real.

Realness is everything. Certain members of the forum get mad respect due to them keeping it real. ie DRFVDR, Joker, Turtle. B$ artists will not prosper.

3. Do not give out personal details left, right and centre if you are unwilling to face to possible consequences.

Facebook, email, msn messenger,cellphone numbers, photos etc are posted/given out at your own discretion. CS does not have any influence as to how its members use the above info. Dont cry if someone stalks you after you gave out your number or whatever.

4. Honesty is king.

Anyone linked with CS must trade with integrity on trademe. Offenders will be stabbed. Survivors will be shot. It doesnt matter if it is $0.50 or $5000. Its the principle.

5. Thous shalt not engage in any boyracer activity. Dangerous or reckless driving on the streets is unacceptable in any way, shape or form.

Admit to any of the above and its open season, imo. The club must remain squeaky clean if we are to prosper.

6. This is an adult forum and as such a certain amount of rough and tumble is encouraged.

Harassment, objectionable material etc etc is frowned upon but mods/committee have better things to do than to come running everytime someone calls the WAHHHHHmbulance! Suck it up, Princess.

Disclaimer: if things get out of hand mods will step in as required.

7. Text speak is not supported here

The forum is English based and has many members for who text speak is all but illegible. Do not do it. Ditto geek speak. Unless this is in context.

8. there is no #8

Lacing serious stuff with humour generally gets better results than just serious stuff.

This from my experiences of presenting boring material to dozens of people on a regular basis.

you just get more buy in.

are these rules real.? there has been a lot of trash talking and abuse going on lately.! it would be good to see the forum used for good not evil and get back to supporting and appreciating each other and our prized possessions, our subbies!
