spring install version 7

Gonna install some springs soon just looking for tips and advice, have done it before but not in a subaru besides there could be some hints from all you subby lovers that could make my job easier was going to repack the grease in the shocks as well as seen in a post on here somewhere... Also any one know the torque settings for the strut tops etc etc

Nothing to tricky about it, 3 bolts at top of strut and 2 to the hub.

Undo those and shes out on the ground

12mm for the top and i think 19mm for the hub boltsw

are there torque settings i should adhere to when bolting back up

i never have, just tight haha.

Probably is but iv never bothered with them.

just be careful with the top hat ones - they strip real easy if you have ape like arms and no brains when tightening them.

yea is the brake line attached to the strut like a v3 etc?

if your doing just the springs and the same shocks you need spring compressors

yup got em more concerned about torque settings will loctite it all when bolting up again

relativly tight aye..u dont want the center nut holding the top hat on to come loose haha...if u wanted to be safe you could lock tite it..but yeah dont overtighten the little guys thats all haha...
