Bush? Should I settle down and play with one?

Was watching this

and had been told by a Subaru technician that stiffening up the front bushes of my BD with fozzie ones, would cure the stock engineered under-steer.

Who's experimented with bushes: brands/specific replacements/total re-bushing? I'm think of doing that before sway-bars, as it's a 15 year old car, they all must be shot to sh!t by now.

Worth it? or don't fix it if it isn't broke? Worse still, did any after-market manufacturer even bother making bushes for bd/bg Legacys?

If you're talking about the ones on the control arms, Whiteline make an anti-lift kit which are pretty good.

Yeah I've looked through the Whiteline catalog, Not sure whether the anti lift kit is what I want to go for before a rear sway bar. The YouTube vid had aftermarket replacements for every rubber/gel/silicone bit I could see under the car. Not sure of the value of such extensive and time consuming modifications. I imagine there would be less body roll and a stiffer ride. Just wondering what the feeling is like and where I can get uprated bushes, especially after what nztintin posted; it needs to be legit.

I've got sti rubber bushes on the front of the foz now, they are more a solid rubber mount

the RA now has super pro urethane bushes, they are super hard, havent tested them yet to see how they perform, I'm thinking they will have a bit of noise from being so hard.

sti bushes are available from your subaru dealer, super pro i don't know where to get them myself, my mechanic bought them for me and i still havent got the bill for them...

You'd suggest starting at the front with bush's? Is there a guide showing which bush's can and should be replaced to notice improvements?

I'm a motorcycle mechanic so bush's are a little over my head; I'm used to bolting suspension metal to metal.

IMO i wouldn't do bushes first

Bigger rear swaybar will help increase oversteer, do good swaybar bushes when you get the swaybar

Lower arm bushes i only did as i blew out the old foz ones so i took the sti ones off my track car and put uprated bushes on the track car cause i needed some sort of bush for it.

Theres plenty of topics around to give you ideas how to change the handling of your car, try looking at the whiteline "rex on rails" experiment they did, most people tend to agree with the findings from there.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
