track day at ruapuna 8). i was using road tyres and standard brakes :-\ + i wasn't as experienced as the guy in the evo. (he does a bit of rally driving)

plant a few comments to show some support!! (prefer positive ones... )

Your mate in the E30 locks up his brakes quite often haha, I remember seeing him lock up a few times at the motosoc track day too.

yea its about 1.5tons so its not as light and nimble as the evo. it's the need for speed trackday. yea im antony. what happens is that he upgraded the front brakes with racing pads and not the back so the brake force distribution was very uneven. thats y he was locking up everytime! even just touching it slightly will cause it to lock up! hahaha. are you the guy with the silver legacy flat4?

Strange, I have performance pads on the front and standard ones on the rear and I've had no problems

really?? well i don't know then. that was my best prediction because he changed the rotors and pads himself, and since then hes been locking up everytime even when driving around town! hahaha. does any1 from clubsub know why this would happen and/or how to fix this problem?

Probably the difference in pads plus non-abs? iv just upgraded to race pads and also locking the fronts if im not carefull.

Tyres could also be a factor, if the braking force overcomes the grip of the tyre it will lock.
