Help please!, Car wont start!

so im wondering what is making my car wont start, it cranks over fine, has the usual slight whine(very slight) of the injectors priming but its just not firing, it just continously keeps cranking with No sign on life?!

Never had this issue b4 and it was working totally fine untill i parked it in my garage b4 the snow on monday now it wont start!

ive tried a jump start with a push but that didnt work

any ideas? i need help!

check codes and was the car run till it was hot last time it was started? if not may have fouled spark plugs

BD5 legacy, and the car usually is hot by the time i turn it off as i drive it to uni and back each day

mine has done this as well had no cel codes up, i changed the crank sensor and hey presto its going again ;D

its under the alternator. one belt off, alternator out and there it is.

nope just a 10mm bolt and its out and dont even need to take belts or anything off

hey im no expert like Ichiban but if you got another sensor lying around its only 5-10mins to rule it out,

I had this once, and also have a BD5, and I kept stamping the accelerator when it was turning over then it went.

yea i spent a good 10-15 min cranking (in periods, not continously) with foot down sadly to no avail, my gut instinct tells me sparkplugs but i think thats a pig of a job

Spark plugs aren't too bad to do. To do my WRX i just removed the pod filter to get to the right hand side and the battery and washer bottle to get to the left.

10 to 15 mins of cranking is going to most likely foul the plugs

Buy your spark plugs from 41, you'll save a fuck load of money! I found out too late unfortunitly

my bad for some reason i pictured in my head that the alt was in the way :

if you need a spare to check im in rangiora and also have a cam position sensor.

along with the tools to remove plugs.

after cranking (and car not starting) do you still hear the slight whine (fuel pump ) for 1-2 sec's ?

If yes then crank sensor ok

if no then crank sensor NW

Also are the cooling fans running continuously with ign on... if so the coolant temp sensor failed

note only cam/crank and coolant temp sensors are used by ecu to initially to start engine

Hey thanks for that!

No codes unfortunately as i dont have a code reader/it never put a cel up, went just before to test what you had suggested and blow me down the flipping thing starts! but like it starts with its usual 2-3 cranks and fires but makes a weird creaky/cracking noise and the engine heasitates for 1-2sec then goes into normal idle, revves fine etc, but that weird noise on start up is worrysome.
