nah the car. they have heaps of gtrs. apparently the guy who tuned it said he didnt have a problem with the wastegate on the dyno. go to trademe and look at gtrs in chch. the guys who own gun city import and sell them

ohh yeah..man i wanna know more about your car.. 32 psi on that turbo on pump gas is pretty tense...

38mm gate seems stupid to me however the theory is that a smaller gate can still hold higher boost..

Link Ecus have a MAP limit setting - which is another wording of boost cut

can be configured different ways with a link, but a link HAS a boostcut

sounds like an ex gunshop car and 38mm on that setup is a NO NO and 720 on 32 psi isnt right wheres the rest of the hp,that should be over 1000hp on that setting

Maybe i should have worded it thus..........The link can be set to provide either a fuel cut(most common )or an ignition cut if set to sense over boost for a given rpm relationship.

I.E. mine will fuel cut at 1 bar if below 3500 rpm.

Above this rpm and up to the 8500 limiter,... overboost cut is set to 2 bar.

Turboboost set to achieve 1.8 bar between 3500 and 8500.

air filters are a terrific low cost way to preserve your investment.

you may need two waste gates to prevent boost creep on this monster :) ........wow!!

no offence but it somewhat needs alot of TLC and pretty common setup for a gtr running a powerfc at a guess still needs setting up correctly and as ive stated and someone else the wastegate its is wrong and when it goes bang rb26's arnt cheap to rebuild and no offence but this is a sub forum
