Where's the best place to buy brand new Old stock Headunits

Just after a few specific models of headunits that im wanting to install into a few cars.

(Mine and two mates) but the headunits we are after are quite old stock.

One of the models since 2005!!

So yes, if anyone knows who resells brand new- old model headunits, please let me know.

single or double din?

most subaru are fitted with aftermarket double din kenwood, addzest (clarion), carrozzeria (pioneer) units when they are in japan. i have a stock single din factory unbadged unit - made by clarion. i think it's nz new too, as the fm band goes above 90.0Mhz

I have a double-din Kenwood unit available, also with American Hifi speakers that fit into the factory spacers. Headunit only goes to 90, but has a band expander.

Mm personally I'm looking for 2000-2009 stock for pioneer while the other two are looking for double din dot matrix display type head units.

Il try search the model numbers tho I'd know it when I see it.

Was just thinking that if shops still sold slow to move stocks or fancy high end ones that were expensive in the hay day

I'm importing an 03 Legacy GT that has a GX-201JE unit (http://tinyurl.com/3vqx4wn). Wouldn't mind finding an NZ New equivalent of this, or else I'll be going down the band expander route.

There is a hack for aux input for these units. See other threads. So maybe no need to use the radio...

I will be doing that too, but I listen to radio probably 99% of the time unless on a roadtrip. So radio is a must lol.
