2&4 ringland issue? rebuild help?

[3]=Cylinder(120,120) [4]=Cylinder(100,100)

[1]=Cylinder(120,120) [2]=Cylinder(90,95)

[-----------Front of Car--------------]

It seems like 4 & 2 are hit with ringland failure,.. Soo, now what do I do?

current engine is the V7 EJ207,

Do I need to get a new short block? or how do I fix this? :-\

Might be cheaper to just buy a used import engine.

get some forgies or new pistons . and hope that a hone brings the sleeves up mint

Mine was 147 I think on all pretty much same-ish numbers on all

Mate reasons it's important for all to be within 1-2percent of each other than final number

Yeh, well that's a 17% difference alone going from 120->100psi on 4, let alone 2's 90psi... :-\

(it's still some pressure, I guess no pressure would be alot worse!!, as iv;e read some people have had almost next to nothing)

I presume Iv'e been driving like this for atleast a year, ;D

So, parts roundup? (so far)

- CP 92.5mm 8.0:1 CR Forged Pistons...

- CP EJ20, H Beam Rod set. (may aswell once the engine is pulled) -( or new rod bearings)

- Gasket - Subaru EJ20 93mm, 0.78mm

- CP Piston Ring Set
