Vf29 vs TD05

decided to go td05:) feels alot better up top..sounds pretty mental with the ewg lol but im soon having that removed

if the external is working well I wouldn't bother removing it, just plumb it back in so its legal

Depends where its mounted though. If its in the noisest spot it will be more trouble than its worth.

its mounted right were all the pipes merge (right next to RF Wheel) to plumb it i would need to run a pipe from the external to the down pipe..with that sayin it would run pretty close to the ground lol..and i gotta angle the s**t outta my car around speed bumps which suck lol..

If the external gate came with the turbo then the internal waste is probably welded up so you will need a new exhaust housing to be able to ditch the external

If its welded on the pivot u can normaly use a thin cut off disk on a grinder and slice the weld in half so the actuator can still move - if the flap is welded u pretty much need a new housing - most cars these days with gates still have the actuator still there just disconnected

Internal flap is welded lol..sucks.

saw it when i changed my clutch today, had to take off downpipe..cant be bothered changing housing

just gonna keep it as is until i change my setup again..

im running 10 psi at the moment until i can get a tune..

im planning to run 14psi (safe setting or shortening the lifespan of the turbo lol)

bro speakn from experiance i would go td05 nice all round boost awsome up top vf22 n vf23 are good turbos but run out to early for me
