What rims are these...

Recommended Posts

Hey people

I have been looking into rims for my RevD wagon and while I really like GT37s there are quite a few tight Legacys around wearing them.

I happened across these, anyone know what they are? I could be wrong but I am assuming these are 19s and i'd need adjusties to get that sort of stance?

If anyone else can recommend some sweet rims for a BH5 I'd love to see some other options too - I sure as fuck don't want to be the hundredth legacy or evo with DTM Shines

Those are nice!

If you're getting rid of your factory rims, are they the twin or single spoke? I either need to get mine touched up, or find some in better condition (looking for single spoke)

Id take yours off you if you got rid of them.

Haven't had any luck finding those rims in NZ, somewhat of a lost cause unfortunately : (

Spent the last couple of hours searching for rim options for it and I am getting pissed tbh, going to spend some time in Photoshop and see what I come up with but so far I just can't find anything that looks right to me.

Argh yeah way too much unfortunately, gorgeous rims you have though dude

Bit of a follow up question to this thread, Mag and Turbo told me I can only run 18s, possibly 19s with an 8 inch width and that's just the way it is, he said 8.5s are possible with some serious rolling but that I wouldn't be able to lower it.

I figure many of you have probably put different rims on Legacys so I'll ask anyway, why can't I go wider? is it a height clearance issue on the guards we are talking about (at which stage I just wouldn't lower it and put some 19's on there) or is it because it will result in the wheels protruding from the guards?

I am really keen on some nice spoked VIP style rims like many of the sick BPs have so I'd like to know what I can get away with.

Realistically this car will be daily driven, and I am well versed in keeping low cars off yucky driveways.

I run a 16x7.5 at the moment, TE37 (B4 wheels need new tyres). Anything wider than about 8" and you are going to either hit the inner guard while turning (front), rub on the strut (both ends) or stick outside the guards (WOF fail on all three) In terms of ride comfort and handling I wouldn't personally recommend anything larger than a 17 (45 profile is pretty low already), but I know plenty of people here will contradict me because "20z are phat au" :)

I run 18x7.5 (tires are 215x40) still fit nicely without any rubbing or hitting anything even tho car is pretty low. No guard rolling but i run a bit of negative camber, -2.9 rears, -2.35 fronts.

18x7.5 falls within the spec I said would fit, but falls outside my performance recommendations :P

hahah yep, i personally wouldn't go anything over 18 but ya any wider and would need guard work if lowered like mine, i cant fit any wider than 215 with my car this low unless i roll the guards. There's literally only bout 5 mm between my wheels and guards

ive got 20's x 8.5 wide on my WRX V7, Guards not rolled. VERY LOW and does not rub.

What tyre though, and what offset?

I run a 17x 8.5 +44 with 245/40s n I use to get inside guard rub on the fronts..

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
