Best not to drop the car past 35mm starts messing up the geometry I certainly noticed the difference in handling after lowering thought it was better with the stock springs.

I went jamex as they have a lifetime warranty tried tein s techs as well but didnt like them much talk to nick at platinum wheels he stocks H&R springs which a friend got and they werent to bad I thought.

Most of the springs for the GDB are 20mm low and 30 to 35Mm superlows all depends on your budget I guess but once you lower the car sooner or later your shocks will start knocking and will need regreasing

Getting your shocks shortened with lower springs will smooth out the ride too.

Adjusties are the ultimate but you are looking at 300 for the set minimum and then a cert on top so it depends on your budget and what you want out of your car really. The only ones Ive had were rear tein adjusties in my forester and definitely noticed the difference over the super lows i think and it handled way better.

Lowering cars does piss with handling as above though thats why drifters have every adjustable arm under the sun.

Anyone who ruins a GDB with $300 adjusties needs their head read. Likewise anyone who sacks one on its arse. If you're going to modify a nice-ish car like that, do it properly with a good set of adjusties or at least a set of decent springs that will perform as well as the factory ones (which are pretty damn good really)

Not sure what $300 adjusties you are refering too, you obviously dont use TM in a big way. Right time right place you can get cusco or tein or D2 take your pick.

Suppose they are shit though coz theyre only $300 so dont buy them... :D

haha..

Na i dont want to "sack" my car just making it a bit lower than standard, will be using trusted brands..

I've currently got BC golds in the car but kinda getting sick of them plus driving on them on long bumpy road aint fun for me or the passangers lol

BC gold's maybe up for sale soon, done around 7000kms so its pretty much near new.. will post up in the FS section if i decide to sell them.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
