DCCD Dash Light Out

Has anyone ever come across the bottom green square not lighting up? i.e wound all the way back.

If I wind it up every other light works as normal, I did have an earth not bolted to the chassis but didn't make a difference when bolted down.

Not sure if its a fault or just a bulb out

blown bulb dude - Rick says that this is the bulb that is normally on, and it is the most common to blow

just like the "D" on some auto trans shifters

yup my first green has never worked stoffa. works fine in full open. the leds arent required to make it operste and wont throw a cell either

well thats what I was thinking, if its just the first light its gonna act the same as the contoller not working anyway.

guess I should check if it binds up at low speeds when wound up, just to conform its all ticketiboo.

weird....my light started working again today

Maybe the filament is broken or was broken and has welded it self back on.(nek Bump) If it goes out again then replace the bulb. not uncommon for them to blow being the one thats on the most. Simple remove dash cluster pull out the circuit board and remove the bulb. (Each bulb is in-case in a black box thats part of the bulb so you remove this as one unit) Mine blown the first bulb so I replace the lot with LEDs 4 blue and 2 red for 80% and lock.. looks cool! rigged it up so the V3 sti symbol lights up for auto on and auto off mode. Might be worth doing to yours if you have to remove it anyway as finding a bulb for it might prove difficult anyway.
