How to remove scratches on my bonnet ?

So, I decided to clean my car on the weekend.

While I was out the rear end cleaning out the tail pipes, my Dad decided he'd try and remove a little mark on the bonnet.

Well he must have used sandpaper or something, actually it was a cloth with a stone in it, and he has caused this :

He then tried cutting compound to fix it, but i think it made it worse. Then I tried Turtle Swirl and something, but nothing worked.

I don't mind taking it to a professional to fix, but is it something I can do myself ? If so, how ?

Latin butt wax should help.. But as for the scratches.... Take it to a pro dude, they look too deeP for any home equipment to fix..

If it was the race car I'd say leave it, scratches and dents add character.

But the Benz !

As others have said, take it to a pro paint shop.

Ring Wellington Mercedes and ask who they take their cars to.

Looks like a potential respray.

They go to Arlington, that's where I've taken my car before.

Dammit, if it wasn't my Dad I'd be so angry.

But of course, he said "Someone must have put a box on it. And moved it around"

Even though I saw him standing there with the cloth.

I can buff the worst of it out but looks like it needs a respray from here. i know a guy who can fake carbon wrap it

pm pfs if he still on here he does these sort of things all the time he works on ferraris and lambos so he pretty good
