running different profile tyres?

noticed a suby today that i parked next to was running different sized tyres on it.

it was a rs/gt bc5...

i always thought that all 4 had to be the same...

unless these sizes were fairly similar, they were 195/65/15 on the front and 205/70/15 on the back...

will this damage the driveline by running a different sized tyre??

Yep. Although the amount of people running round with the old Legacy's in RWD no longer surprises me so it could just be one of those.

supposedly aint great for the center diff

No more than a 5% difference in rolling diameter to prevent center diff damage. Unless rwd, then mix and match away

Nope. Anything with a centre diff needs all four to be the same.

Nope. Anything with a centre diff needs all four to be the same.

And when he says ANYTHING he means any vehicle that runs a viscous centre diff, be it a subaru,toyota, misti or mercedes
