car wont idle after installing FMIC piping, like its going to run out af gas.

a mate reknz he used silicone on his piping when putting on the joiners,

is that recomended do ya know??

shouldnt need to if the clamps are tight. have you got your BOV hooked in right?

dunno bout the blow off either , i just sort of modified (squashed) the bit on the pipe where the bov goes and put (forced) the bov straight on to the pipe with no adapter(prob not good idea???)

that would be your problem. my bov came with an adapter to wield on. but it was stainless so i couldnt stick it on my alloy i/c pipes so what i did, was get a couple of inches of radiator hose and two clamps and use it as a joiner between the two. anyway you could do that?

did your mate use silicon sealant or spray to fit them? you know that silicon spray will turn to glass when it gets hot and cover your o2 sensor and fuk it aye... but automotive type silicon sealant is mostly sensor safe.

unsure what the bro used??

trying to avoid the silicone option as i dont want anything getting sucked into the piping which may cause another prob

if i was you id go over all of the joiners with a screwdriver and tighten them. and failing that get out the brake/carb cleaner and spray around and find a vacuum leak...

Be careful with brakleen and a running engine, things like stray ign sparks or the alternator can cause a fire

You have something MAJORLY WRONG, should be able to here an air leak that big

What else did you do? if it was running right before - 99.9% chance YOU have caused this issue

Sounds like you may have a major air leak or an air flow meter problem of some sort. Have you checked every join an plug to make sure its all connected properly?

had a mad air leak on silicone joining turbo outlet & piping,

had another air leak on silicone joining the piping to the manifold inlet,

and had a split in the 90' bend 3 port turbo inlet hose.

fixed using leggy parts at a total cost of $20 at the wreckers
