I buy the stuff that BNT sells, longlife coolant with water wetting technology already in it, about $40 for 5 litres. If you buy normal water wetter it says you cant mix it with long life coolant.

I used water wetter in my last car... it didn\'t seem to have any rust prevention stuff in it though... the water was always

brown... I\'d prefer to use coolant this time... I\'ll take a look at that BNT stuff... cheers....

I am of the understanding that Water Wetter has neither anti corrosive properties NOR antifreeze/boil properties.

Interesting fact,The only reason that your coolant needs to be changed if is that the anti corrosion additive looses it effectiveness, the antifreeze/boil properties never degrade

Most coolant lasts 100,000km or 3-4 years now days. Its only if your car has pink or orange stuff in it you need something special. Euros and commodores etc. Most jappas pre 2000 take green s*** and most after also. Maybe flush it with a hose/additive to clean the shit out of it too.
