my 89 r.s keeps stalling while driving PLZ HELP

Hi i have a 89 subaru legacy r.s 5spd manual single turbo and it ran out of gas afw days ago and the day afta that it just started randomly stalling whyl i was drivin a fw times i managd 2make it hme and me and my kids hav pretty much ben stuck at hme since 2days ago car still starts fine cel light cums on sumtimes must be a fuel problm can any1 plz help cheerz

Cell? Im not sure what u mean sorry

If the cell light come on then a error code will be loged in the ecu. Fining thats a good place to start.

Info on how to find the code can be found on the faq section.

Theres 2 black plugs under the steering coloum. Plug them together and turn key on.

The check engine light will flash long and short flashes. Long being first diget and short the seccond.

Ther could be many codes

I\'m taking a punt that its an Air Flow Meter problem. The checking the ECU codes via those black plugs should give a better idea where to start though.

Could also be bucketloads of shit from the bottom of the tank in your fuel filter....

Try resetting ecu? Could have logged a problem when you ran out of fuel and put it into limp mode. Then if it still occurs find code and diagnose problem. I have a couple good green afm lying around if you wanna test. I\'m in auckland
