Did I break my gearbox, my clutch, my rear diff, or all three?>

Hey guys my subie is making sum interesting noises, when i try to accelerate it feels like my clutch is slipping (revs but no speed) but at the same time I can hear sumthing that sounds like metal shavings in my gearbox, this has happened all of a sudden not slowly.... it may have been closly timed around launching the car, so im wondering have I most likly stuffed my box or the diff or the clutch or what?

I knew it was coming, but now that its happend i dont want to replace my gearbox to find my rear diff is rooted and vs versa

heeh i will not say much as I usually get shot down

but if u have slippage then i would have a stab that u have lunched your clutch

I broke mine a couple of weeks back and I've never launched it, kinda gutted.

My flat mate had a similar thing... turned out that he had snapped a half shaft, around the spline where it inserts into the front diff, so it kept poping in and out of the box... gave very similar symptons to what your describing, was very weird
