Exhaust help

Currently have after market downpipe from the turbo into a zero sports muffler but i want it to have a louder rumble when idling and driving , Do i just need a diffrent muffler? Can you guys recommend one on trademe i can buy that will bolt on ? Its a 2001 sti sedan

Dosnt actually have to bolt on . Can get it welded on for like 20 bucks

IS your system 2.5" or 3"

yes a new tip will make it louder although may make it iilegal

from the sound of your setup it should already be loud/deep rumble

try a new tip

Yours sounds pretty sweet already man, but if in doubt any cheap barrel muffler will give more volume, the worse a job it does the louder itll be

Ive got a trust muffler on mine, which all the metal packing steelo pad sh!t came out of, meaning i just have a metal tub which does nothing i guess

sets off car alarms in underground parks at idle but being a subaru still passes wofs haha

And I\'m wanting to sound deaden my car so it\'s not so droney. I must have sensitive ears..

man im deaf after a 3 hr drive, wagons make it worse i think

gonna get a genome on it once im able to spend money on it again (stupid moving cities)

Get a rage axle back system, that\'s what you had on your old car, the one I sold you. That was real loud.

The cheap generic brands tend to be louder, as the Japanese brand names usually have to meet JASMA noise limits

i have a RPS one off my old V7 sti that had a nice rumble to it and was loud but not soo loud as to attract too much attention

its a diff back setup so will bolt onto ur v7

im in auckland tho

How much? driving up to hamilton in a couple weeks . could come pick it up
