Best subaru mechanics in Wellington? Looking at buyer from afar

Hey just wanting to know who is a good mechanic to check out a car in wellington? I want someone who knows there old STI\'s. The car seems abit iffy so wanna get it checked out

Whos the best or will do a good comprehensive check on a car including compression ?

Alternately does anyone know this car? Not to worried about the kms if the actual car is in good legit condition ....

jesus quoted 340 for a inspection with compression and leakdown I guess its worth it in the big picture but wow wasn\'t thinking it\'d be that much

because the rest on TM are 12+ for similar condition with lower kms... Plus a black coupe is sorta a wee dream of mine

I know the car, its been living in a Aotea for the last few years where it was garaged when not being used and owned by a guy in his 30\'s, it is pretty rough from the outside, I guess it must be new owners that have it now, the last time I saw it was about 2 months ago.

Those wheel are hideous in person, I would get it checked out at armstrongs subaru in lower hutt, they actually have a few switched on subie mechanics in the hutt branch

335,000 kms? dude, keep looking... there are better options on trademe... you won\'t get a decent coupe for 8k...

get a sedan... you can always put a DCCD gearbox in later if you really want to.

here\'s a black sti with less than half the kms... just need to get some smaller wheels and standard bumper etc.

meh 4 doors are a dime a dozen.... Wouldn\'t go another 4 door at this stage
