Fitting v7 sti tmic to a v2

I know this has been covered before but only seems to be for v3 upwards as the v2 intake manifold seems to be to close the fire wall. has anyone done this on a v2 before? or does someone know if a later model intake manifold will bolt on that will give more room?

A v3/4 intake manifold should bolt on but idk about the sensors etc

v2 manifold has a slanted intake iirc, so later tmic\'s are basically a no go.

again, iirc, v3/4 should bolt up, swap over sensors and injectors etc and away you go. bound to be more to it than that though

It has been done see kamineko on that one. Just buy a v3/4 mani imo.

Get a scoop and shroud that matches or its relatively fruitless.

I have done the V3/4 manifold swap onto a V2 WRX.

I had to change the throttle cable and power steering pump as the old one was too fat to fit the under manifold intake on, but if you aren\'t changing to a straight inlet turbo that shouldn\'t be an issue. As far as I recall the only difference in the sensors was the TPS which will have one less wire than the V2 equivalent which is for the idle switch. You can wire it in without that wire and it will throw a CEL when you are idling but that is it.
