Starter motor. Where is it?

Ok here\'s an easy one. Where would I find the starter motor in my GTB (BH)? It\'s making nasty noises and needs fixing.

The manual says it\'s behind the airbox, but I don\'t think it is..

just to the right of the throttle body as you look at it from in front of the car

Remove your TMIC and it will jump out at you.

i guess non turbo it would be behind/under the airbox... in a way? some subys have that second massive one where tmic normally is

It\'s the Liberty manual, so I guess its for the Oz models? Page SC(H4SO)-6 if anyones looking.

The first step is to apparantly remove the aircleaner case.

Anyway it\'s all sorted now. Just needed a good cleaning apparently. Was full of fibres from the clutch, which they reckon can happen with the manuals.

Car\'s starting and I\'m a happy camper :-)

Do a quick search and think there is a post somewhere here with the factory service manual PDF. Have a look - if you can\'t find it, I have it in PDF format. Its a 100MB download but great to have on hand - has all the torque settings too when you torquing stuff back up.
