Cost to change TT to a single on BE

Thats what I felt like too, I like the idea of a rex but aren\'t really keen for the popo attention and all that goes along with them, interior wise i like the BE\'s a hell of a lot more than older rex\'s. And i really don\'t think i could live with all the blue in the interior.

Talk to subout, part of subworx. Don\'t know if they\'re in the right part of the country for you but they quoted me 2800 for a unspecified version sti conversion with turbo and ecu or 3800 for full v8 conversion with group n ecu.

The only problem i feel would be the small block as you\'d be getting new heads and all that but whether the legacy block is strong enough for any power increase. Just thinking out loud though, someone with more experience could say otherwise.

Just frost plug the other side(oil and water); don\'t need new heads: Just change the gaskets to attain the correct cr for the ecu. Wiring is a piece of piss following gazzy2000\'s wiring guide; You can mod the TT exhaust so you don\'t need to change xmember, you\'ll need wrx headers and uppipe, Y pipe(make sure it\'s going to fit: I\'ve had issues, I think because V7 tmic, not sure yet) and wrx inlet.

You\'ll want to replace the oil and water return on drivers side head with ones from a wrx, If you aren\'t changing heads/block.

Just so you know...changing a head gasket to suit whatever car the ecu came out of is NOT going to give you the correct CR. It will change it but if youre getting that serious with it going to an engine reconditioner who will calculate it for you is the only way to really get it accurate.

I think most people just run with it as its been proven ST conversions dont blow up running A8 non sti V5/6 ecus. Members on here made 200kw atw iirc minimal mods.

Well yea it would its v5/6 non sti a forester one would work as well they all run yellow side feeds. Think people have run sti ones no prob also. $80 for a dyno run will let you know how much boosty you can wind in etc before going bang.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
