meremere track day

Hi all just been talking with chris one of the lead members of project car club in auckland. He was looking at hireing out the meremere track for the day in a couple of months but need to see if theres much interest first. His aim was to get alot of clubs together for the event. I did see that clubsub members wanted to do one. If we all join along it will keep the cost down and have alot of people from all around north island

The right foot is willing but the wallet is weak

(would be simpler just to have a "cs night" at one of the nightwars? Just have anyone keen aim for a particular night to all turn up rather than trying to hire it - more trouble than it\'s worth)

yea wev got that in mind but night wars u get bugger all runs an not much time really. But yes your right would proberly work out better at the nightwars

Nightwars goes from about 5pm during summer months every friday night. MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS LEGIT!!!! Cops loooove setting up roadblocks after the event and nailing everyone going through....

And it\'s a bit of a drive from kapiti coast - mere mere is stashed somewhere round pukekohe ways (I\'m not big on geography, I just go there and get sunburnt... Slept in a tent there once too!)

Whats rough costings compared to $30 night wars?

Nightwars is situated about halfway between auckland an hamilton. the season starts on the first friday of november an carrys on every 2nd friday for a couple of months. Al you need is wof,reg ,helmet an a current drivers license. for all car enthusist an a time to see all kinds of quick street cars race. My opinion is nightwars an rota nats are the best events of the year.

Hey guys chris got a quote and its 3000 plus ambo cost. But the mpre ppl . We can hold a track day for guys who wana run ther cars

Whats ambo cost? 3k would be pretty doable I wouldve thought. Shouldnt be hard to get 100 people to show its not like a track day. This would still be timed and ran like normal 4nR?

Ambo would be a near $400 \'donation\' going by events we have done that require them around here, unless you can con someone with a first aid cert to attend (might be in fine print)

Any idea what level of First Aid cert is needed? I would imagine theres a few people about with current First Aid Certs.

if your in the Fire service you may have it, but not really clued up on it sorry

Fair, might be worth looking into for anyone seriously organizing it. First Aid certs of varying levels are pretty common now if your in a corporate structure, I have had mine since I was 17.
