Cold start

Hey guys. Just wandering if the car is really cold as in environment. would it effect whether it starts. Got car back from Gary and started second pop and started first pop last night but tonight I went to start it and just turns over but doesn\'t start. Theres fuel as FPR shows 43psi solid. Sparking is my only question. I haven\'t changed the plugs but what\'s the possibility they all got knackered?

cold weather can decrease the ccas in ya battery

Plug in the laptop see what its doing. Since mines been running G4 sometimes it takes a couple of turns to kick over sometimes first pop.

If you dont know the history of the plugs then change them.

Changed plugs to bkr7e ngk. Not platinums or anything flash. Gonna change every oil change. Started first pop and runs real good now.

i read somewhere here that copper sparks are actually the best. just you have to change them more often is that true?

so buying the expensive types seems like a bit of a rip at the end of the day???? or is it each to their own and whatever one person wants to believe lol

Copper does conduct better, but yes to require more frequent changes oppose to platinums

The expensive ones last about 5~10 times longer than copper plugs so the cost works out in the end.

my cars been a bitch in the cold and its in a garage I thought my starter motor was on the way out as it makes a grrrrr sound after starting the car.

I had to replace the main heater hose as it was just starting to leak water and i think some went into the starter motor.
