97 sti-restricter pill

hey just wondering how much boost i would be running without the inline restricter pill?the factory soleniod setup is all hooked up but there\'s no pill inside the vacume line.i dont have a boost gauge or nething so would it just be running wastegate pressure?

if any one has one lying round in auckland theyd wana sell let me know!

Would likely still be under 10psi

Would advise getting a gauge if you\'re tinkering anyway

You can make your own restrictor - some people use a welding tip (like 0.6mm hole) or similar

i attend to buy a boost gauge in the next week or so,as for now il just leave it as is.

i just wanted to check to see if it had a restricter pill inside which it doesnt.as i didnt think it was running a bar of boost

Should still be running factory boost just the onset will be later.

Nah, too much boost gets to the wastegate for the factory solenoid to bleed it off.

You get 7psi if you have a standard wastegate.

Swear it didnt on mine. I ran stock boost control after I flicked ebc and before I put in g4 and with or without pill it was the same just felt slower to spool without. No way to check now tho.
