Was mere minutes away from having my car stolen about 10 minutes ago, had just got home and went back outside to grab my phone from the car these f****rs were pulled up right next to it in a silver forrester and one of them was looking through the drivers side window. Saw them yelled abusively then tried to grab the ba****d but he jumped into the passenger side of the forry. Only managed to grab three letters of the plate BKT*** i know not of much use. Tried chasing them down but by the time i started the car they were long gone... feeling very lucky and at the same time very pissed off! >

Yeap car was locked and alarmed. He was looking through my driivers side window with a torch just as i got there, very lucky.

Worth calling the cops anyway - if you call up and said I saw a silver forester plates BKT something trying to pinch my car (or whatever) they can find it quick smart assuming the plates fit the vehicle

No crime in them "looking" but if if other people report the same could help someone, somewhere - same as if you said I saw a dude in a red hoody snooping in my back yard - if they got someone elses car and only clue was "silver wagin SUV thing" it could give them a head start
