Car Alarm

Can any one recommend a company that can install alarms? but a good quality install. not install above the pedals. good quality alarm with good install from trustworthy installers.

+1 AVS...Another thing they did for me was that they screw the alarm under the headlight, an put the alarm box behind the speedo. But you have to pull all the parts off for them to get to it.

Helpful hint number 1

what I did was put a kill switch in separate to the alarm and also I got an in car piezo siren 110db wired into the cabin. Super loud and almost impossible to stay in car when going off. Also ran two bonnet sensors one by the light where they all look and one on the side.

Just extra things you could consider when alarming your pride and joy.

The absolute best mate avs dont really come close at all these guys have only one way to install the alarm the control modules are tamper proof they do all the work and the insurance companys lovethem

I herd of them but need one in auckland. an that in side siren is a good idea but its just as ezi as disconnecting the batt to silence it. that will only werk if its back up battery in it. and having to take you dash apart? cant they do it? or do you got to do it. and i dont wanna plain back up battery siren with a shitty over ride key. rather have a digital back up siren.

Yeah definitely cobra or autowatch, only reason I went avs was because I couldn\'t find a cobra installer in chch T_T

AVS don\'t come close to autowatch.?..That\'s cause AVS are above autowatch. Autowatch are crap. AS long as they take to put in, Takes A few mins to take out.

Seriously, wtf are you talking about?

Although AVS are a club sponsor and I respect them for that, theres a bunch of features of most Autowatch alarms that make them considerably better than the AVS ones in my opinion. Installation being equal, it takes all of 3 seconds to open an AVS case with a flathead screwdriver and then you can do all sorts of dirty tricks that I won\'t go into.
