2003 Ver 8 STi suspension in a 1999 Ver 6 STi GC8

Probably been asked many a time..

However, I have tried to find anything I can about if this setup will work and how,

Have found ver 7 rears needed top hats replaced with gc8 ones.

Read somewhere that ver 8 or 9 rears will need holes relocated in the actual chassis or something??

Afaik, fronts should just bolt in no problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, need to get rid of these old model used condition D2 adjusties that are currently in car.

V9 sti is were the hubs changed to 5/114 and had different mounting from what i have been told.

but with the exception of the wrx or the same era (my?? dunno ) which stayed 5/100

V9sti and above changed hub pattern but Wrx stayed same

Anyway yes the front from a v8 will fit fine

Rears need top hat chNge

Also the break hose mounting is different one is clip and one uses bolt to hold

Assuming this would be the same scenario for v7 struts to v2 gc8?

I was reading some where that fitting latter model struts v7+ can stuff up the camber ect on a gc8 due to the v7+ having a wider track?

yup they fit. that can be adjusted out with camber bolts ect .... or even better change the lower arms ect

i have actually try this already on for my GC8 the GDB\'s struts are higher then the GC8s, it will fit but if u dont mind sitting higher.
