Droping new motor in issue

Im not sure if my clutch is working properly?

it took me ages to get the pin back through the clutch fork i ended up losening the cylinder slave and and rebolting it back on.

the pin in the slave stayed pinned back. Then when i got in the car to push the clutch in the clutch pedal dropped straight to the floor after a couple of pumps it came back to being right and i proceeded to test the gearbox it went in to all the gears.

Just to double check it was working all alright i put it in 1st gear and tryed to push it forward the car moved 10-15cm and wouldnt go any further.

i also tryed to turn the crank to see if it was all spinning but it wouldnt go all the way around.

car has just the longblock in only.no intake manifold,alternator,powersteering or starter motor.

Is that a after market slave? if it hasn\'t got japan on it then theres your problem

it wont move in gear it selects gears fine and goes into all the gears.

but when i chuck it in 1st and try to push it forward it doesnt move.

i can also push the pin in on the cylinder slave and it stays pinned back and the clutch pedal in car sinks to the floor untill u pull it back out(the pedal) and push back in.

try bleeding the clutch first.

will bleed tomorw also wondering why car doesnt move while in gear or when i turn the crank it doesnt go very far?

Won\'t turn far when in gear or when in neutral? Or both?

when in neutral it wont turn far.

and when in gear it wont move at all.

tried to push it in reverse also and moved mayb 10cm if that

I think we have the same issue is the problem you got to do with your clutch

sounds like the spigot bearing is seized to gearbox shaft, but i might be wrong.

dammit gunna have to pull motor off again and check thrust bearing ....

Well there was a metal plate at bottom of flywheel stopinh it from turning around in neutral. Fixef that and put it back in. Is it normal for the car to not move in 1st gear or any gear. I dony have any intake on or alternator or powersteering hooked up yet. It still selects gears and clutch goes in and out fine.
