i dont see how a falcon sedan has more room and a legacy wagon........ i know falcons are big but not that big

Lots more room for feet and such, roomier in cabin from what I have seen but not so much storage space.

Dunno about storage space, but Commodore and Falcon cabins would def be bigger than a Legacy\'s. I used to have a Caldina, and although my Legacy is larger externally, the immediate impression when getting into the drivers seat is, wow everything looks a lot more compact in here.

I guess you dont have kids.

Have you ever tried to fit a Plus 1 double pram in the boot? Nothing fits it but the Legacy and even then its completely full! However. When we put it in the Falcon we pushed it right forward and could fit a full load of groceries in behind it with room to move.

My mate used to put 3 bread crates in his commodore then his tool boxes either side and then pack 5 work mates in. Legacy wouldnt have a sheet show on that.

So drove the FG Coon.

Put the buggy in the back. Can still put a full load of groceries in around it and then some.

Ended up buy an 08 FG falcon xr6t. 270kw 6 spd auto. Has the tech and and luxury pack options. Full leather, 8 speaker system with sub from factory. In car control system. Very very rapid car and ill tell ya, more economical than the leggy!

Now to work out how to talk her into another wrx for me!

Great job, post some pics :)

How much if you don\'t mind me asking? And mileage? I really like the fg\'s aye, quite like the look of the g6e turbos, but can\'t help thinking I need to be 20 years older than I am to buy one of them lol.

Surprisingly not that expensive.

Picked it up for 18k with 150 kms on it BUT long kms and its immaculate.

The G6Es are the plush variant, the xr6t with the tech pack is the one to get. Bonus for the leather from what the aussies tell me.

Alot of room a lot of power. Ill get some pics today.

For the G6E your looking at 25-30k with over a hundy on the clock.

The new 4.0ltr is quite good. Slightly more economical than the Legacy.

The only thing is trying to teach the wife it aint a 4 wd any more so light ly lightly around the wet round about. She tends to mash the pedal abit as not used to an auto.

Same thing. The old BF/BAs were abit gutless but the new FG engine in the normal xr6s are quite good.

Similar to the newer SV6s they drive well.Ive never been a Ford guy but id buy another one.

Certainly not going from Subaru so will be looking for another wrx too.

10/11l per 100km on the coon and 12 for the legacy. From my looking.

2004 Legacy GT-B, ECU Tuned by GCP with Subtech Pipe and Freeflow panel filter. 181KW @ wheels

7.8L per 100 km open road (economy driving)

9-10L per 100km open road (performance driving)

12-13L per 100km town (medium trips and normal driving)

14-16L per 100 km town (short trips and performance driving)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
