Engine Code P1507

Hey guys, so this is the code I\'m getting when i got my car back yesterday P1507 as well as the check engine light and the red oil light. How do i go on about fixing the P1507 code ? any ideas all it says on the internet is to give it a good clean and change the rubber seal ? Note that I did upgrade to a larger throttle body would that give me that code ???

P1507 = Idle air control.

Put a multimeter set to DC volts across it at idle, should have 13-14v on it or it will fault. Although it\'s probably PWM controlled so depending how flash your multimeter is it might read kinda funny.

Also it could be the AFM getting a really f*cked reading, and the car deciding that it probably means the IAC is bung when really it\'s fine.

I\'m staggered you\'re still trying to run it with an AFM. You should have gone G4 quite a while ago.

I havn\'t paid jacky yet for the job, we still need to sort out the pricing on the job. Anyone keen to come over and have a look at the issues ? i rather do it my self with the assistance of someone else

Considering it was put together by a shop that you\'re paying for the work, how about take it back to them and park it in front of the workshop door until they fix it? Because the very second someone else peeks under the bonnet, or you tutu with it, the shop will say "not our problem" and walk away.

But, on the other hand, perhaps some 5th gear redline pulls and taking it to 7 different mechanics will help.

Try turning the afm around. It myt be back to frnt
