What is the advantage of an NZ New vs Jap Import?

I went and test drove a 3.0R BL today. 6spd manual spec B full leather etc done 170 odd kms. Little rough around but price reflects that. The other one I have my eyes on is an NZ New done 193kms and they are wanting almost $2k more. It is tidier, it has a sunroof, and is NZ New but it is also more expensive and higher kms. It also involves travelling further.

Can anyone give me advice? cheers

I would get the car in better condition, if you can afford it. The 23k difference in mileage is nothing on that engine, but all things being equal, a better condition car is likely to have been better treated and in turn is likely to be kinder to you and your wallet down the line. There aren\'t any major differences between the NZ and JDM 3.0Rs: same power and features. If it\'s a facelift model you\'ll get English on the dash display, and on the LCD nav if it has it. If it\'s a NZ model with a factory stereo you also won\'t need a band expander, and you might also be able to get a service history in English, which is priceless.

Nz new usually come with a black leather, cruise control, sunroof. But jdm has HID\'s, key less entry, tints in rear, rear Fog lights, alloy suspension arms and only 180km speedo.

Does the NZ new not have HIDs? Both are black leather and 6 speed. I have just been chatting to the owner of NZ new though and think I will go with that option. It has the sunroof and also has stereo controls on steering wheel and has cruise control. Seems like when it came to the time to sell it has more going for it

No HID\'s for nz new. I used to have a jdm but now a nz new
