4-pots onto GTB

I've done this before, but it was years ago so I can't remember what I did, and search is failing me

Subaru 4-pot fronts, bolt directly onto BG5 GTB, correct? You don't need the bigger 330mm rotors?

But what I can't remember is, can you use the 330mm rotors and 4-pots on the BG5 GTB?

And then next question - upgrading the lines to braided - do you need to get Legacy ones to match the car, or WRX ones to match the brakes?

When I did my brembo conversion on my bh I used v7 rotors of course, but then I needed rotors on my v4 STi wagon, so I used my bh front rotors on on the front of the v4. So not sure if this answers your question but the 4 pots on the v4 seem to be sweet with the bh rotors.

The brembo rotors are 326mm and 4 pot 294mm. You use the rotor to match the caliper but both front options bolt up sweet. So if you have 294mm rotors 4 pots will bolt straight up.

yea dude depends on which gtb you have, mine has the 294 discks, not sure about yours, early revisions didn't/GT's

Yeah I don't think the question I'm asking is quite answered, so I'll clarify:

Are the 330mm rotors used with non-brembo 4-pots, or are they only used with Brembos? If the 4-pots bolt up to 294mm rotors fine, can the same be said for 330mm rotors?

The 326mm rotors for brembos are used with brembo calipers.

The 294mm 4 pot rotors are used with 4 pot calipers.

Both setups bolt up no problemo logic tells me you cant mix and match thats why I said use the matching rotor/caliper. There is no non brembo 4 pot that works with the 326mm rotor.
