Do 95 sti ra imprezas have a red top manifold? do the non sti motors have the fifth injector?

mates ver2 sti ra doesnt have red top, think just the stis do from that model and the ra has 5th injector

5th injector; found on above model (v2 STI RA), Japanese love them (at the time) doesn't function (don't believe anybody that tells you it does)

just forward of the intercooler where the throttle body is.

5th injectors were the thing back in day with mazda dohc turbos.

they didnt come with one as a factory setup (mazda) but for high boost applications the 5th injector stopped,high boost lean out.by pumping more fuel on boost

the fifth injector must go ! lol. it draws current or something when my mate done something with a multi meter. yeah just keeping it as is atm due to it being for sale. thanks for putting up the pics

was optioned with a/c and windows the ones without these are labeled xr on the option code whereas mine is blank. for engine pix refer to my tm classified

its wired up, sure, which means its connected to the +Ve injector rail, which may have confused him

..gees id love to take that car for a drive.. i've modified mine so much that i've forgotten what stock was like..
