Cheers, whats the main differences between the two engines?

RSB has bilstein suspension and was the facelifted model if Im correct which had the EJ20R engine with 206kw and vf18/19 turbos RS had the EJ20H engine with 183kw and VF13/14 turbos all of this is on a if Im correct basis but Im pretty sure I am

Check the left rear shock isnt leaking - this is really common on the wagons (ive killed several in mine) and I imagine it could also be an issue in the sedans.

If the persons only changed the oil every 10k I would check it out carefully. If you do get it, run some upper engine cleaner through it to clean things out a bit!

Other than that, be wary of any whistling turbos and any CEL codes.

But as previously mentioned, they do look smart in white

strut bush (getting one made by autolign) rh control arm bush (again autoligns sorting one for me, gotta come from palmy though) and seatbelt not retracting which either just needs a bit of freeing up or ill replace it. pm me or txt me on 0211793066 if you wanna no more. or msn me [email protected]

[RSB]

As already stated, engine, bilsteins and facelift model.

The facelift was pretty minor, but RSB's look way better than RS'! colour coded skirts, bigger wheels, projector lamps, cornering lights, slightly different interior. Later RSB's have a nice black centre console insert (where your faux wood grain would normally go)

Issues.

Bigend. Listen for knocking.

Normal subie issues like rocker cover seals, crank seals etc.

Rust around front/rear screens

Quirks

Valley of death! big fat hole between primary and secondary turbos.

For a whale, they handle damned well. Fantastic car for hauling the family around/daily commuter/road tripper, and respond very well to basic handling mods.
