Attempted break in :(

Got home from the long weekend away to find someone had tried to break into my Version 10 STI

they pushed the windows seal in on the back window to obviously stick someething threw to unlock the door

There was lube/grease along the armrest and also a peice of plastic broken of just under the lock.

Lucky they couldn't actually get inside as my imboblize and alarm won't let you open the door when it's alarmed even from inside the car witch is pretty damn smart if you ask me. Only just found it out today when I was mucking round with it trying to see how to set my alarm off ect

So my question is what else can I do to stop my car getting stolen ?

Was sparked in my propety behind a big fence. Couldn't be seen from the road

Just bought a steering lock today so will have to use that. Anything else I can do ?

With enough time and privacy someone who really wants your car will take it. However the more you can do to slow them down the better. A simple kill switch in an out of the way place might help slow down anyone who gets in. Steering lock is a good idea also IMO, anything you can do to slow them down.

A GPS tracker is also worth a look as there quite cheap nowadays.

GPS Tracker won't stop it getting stolen, but does give you a much better chance of retrieval

might be costly but if car is normally parked at home, install CCTV camera's,hidden or visible(might deter them)and at least you will get their faces.

Alarm, Steering Lock, Gear shift Lock, Wheel Clamp, GPS Tracker, Kill switch.

Parking Cars behind your car is good, they going to have to move those ones before

they get yours lolz also chuck a Car cover on and trap it down more down time for

them to steal it, also a fully fenced house with a Dog and your car in a Garage you

can sleep like a baby during the night without worrying haha
