Mag's Question........

Im thinking of upgrading my current mags from 17's and going up to 18's

Im just wondering if the ride will be any harder than it currently is and will the following size fit without having to roll the arched etc.....

18 x 8 with a 48 offset and Stud Pattern is 5 x 100

Oh yeah to fit a 1998 STI Type R

I went from 215/35/18 t0 215/40/17 definitely a heap nicer on the arse bones.

even 45 series over 40 series on 17" is an improvement too

so yea will be slightly harsher

I took a set of 18*8's with ****ty tyres off and put on some 17*7.5s with good tyres and a higher profile.

Completely changed the ride (for the better).

But 16's would be too small as I'm looking to upgrade the brakes in the future so......

Me thinks I'm going to stick with 17's so back to the drawing board and the hunt for some fresh mags......

Brembo's are very popular but at the moment....

Not sure which as yet but I thinking of maybe sourcing some Alcon Prodrive ones from my mates back in the UK as I'm not in any rush to get them as yet......
