Can v7 sti suspension fit v6 wrx??

I heard they can and all i have to do is use my old top hats but will the springs fit the top hats??

Front is the same, rear you only need to swap top hat, but v7 suspension maybe abit longer?

I just heard they are abit stiffer so may sit higher. I have lowering springs and hate how low it is but i think my suspension is smoked so might try put them back in and see what happens.

Wagon, yes, no problems other than swapping the rear tophats.

Sedan V7 has a wider track, you will probably get positive or very little negative camber in the rear without aftermarket camber adjustment.

I put a set of V7 STI shocks into my GC8 and it was way too high so length / height is definitely different - lowering springs may help. I fitted a set of red STI mud flaps and told everyone it was my gravel spec setup. haha.

You can see the large gap in this pic:

V7 brake line clamps are different too - I ended up fabricating some for a WOF.

Funny i just text you scooby about suspension from trademe. Do you have a pic of what it looks like with the whole car just not the back??

Oh, didn't realise that was you... haha. Still have my original spring but don't really want to get rid of them... Pity, I just threw a set of V3 STI spring away a couple of weeks ago!

New question... Can you use gc8 sti springs in v7 sti struts with gc8 top hats. I know it should fit but would it wreck the damper as it would have different spring rates??

It would just be a bit over-damped most likely. I don't think it would damage it.
