Brake pedal feel....just not right??

Hi guys,

Just a question regarding my brakes.

I replaced the front pads and bled the brakes but there isnt any feel when you press the brakes...this problem was there before as well.

Could it be the master cylinder???

Keep bleeding them. Youd be surprised how much it taked to get some air out.

Check all your seals under your cylinder etc but id say you just have air trapped. Check all your bleed nippples are done up properly too.

i had nagging brake feel problems, turned out to be the front sliders needed checking/greasing

Keep bleeding them . I meant all of them too. As in the proper sequence to bleed brakes. Cant remember the right way? Furtherest first?

Clamp all of the lines off at the calipers with proper brake line clamps. See if you have a good pedal. If you do, release 1 clamp at a time until you find the pedal goes sh*t. Thats your problem caliper.

I've always started from the closest then to the furthest, (i.e. front right, front left, rear right then rear left from the drivers' seat perspective; close meaning the closest to the brake fluid reservoir) each time moving onto the next caliper bleeding it for a tad longer since the lines run longer thus more gas build up. Also I usually do that cycle at least twice just in case

Proper brake line clamps? didnt know there was such a thing, wont they damage them at all?

Yup, here's 1 example...

I thort u always started at front left, left rear, right rear then finally right front so as to "push" the air from furtherest thru to the master cylinder

Subaru proceedure is nearest to furthest away

But almost all methods will work, this includes vac or pressure bleeding

Also furthest to nearest works just aswell
