i wouldnt . also means running a new high pressure line all the way back there . and the vac line will prolly have horrible response time . as will the actual pressure at the injectors as the volume of fuel between the injectors and the reg has gone from 1 foot to 20 .

might aswell convert it to a returnless system like a lot of modern cars

or get 2 of the same rail and have a reg on each rail like some people do for a simple parallel setup

putting the reg at the back of the car is at the bottom of the list of solutions as far as id say

can you not just mount it down below where the ac lines go through the fire wall etc ?

My road car has fuel lines all the way from the back of the car! But the vacuum line on the FPR would still be better short.

Would have been better for the knowledge base if the original question and the answer remained so that anyone with a similar query in the future could find it and find the answer without needing to ask the same question again.
