Twin Scroll Headers

More the quicker spool i'm after (block couldn't handle too much more power in its current state.. god dammit). Currently have a GT3082r making close to 400kw. Thoughts were I could get good coin for my current gear (Sinco equal length headers and up pipe, Tial 44mm EWG, GT3082r with anti surge cover, 3" down pipe with EWG plumbing) to put towards a TS set up.

Rac ran an hx3540 s/s on a ej25/v3 sti hybrid. I ran a hrc35/2 12cm on a ej257 with legy t/s headers. Gotasuby ran an hx35 on 2.5/avcs heads/legacy headers.

I made 20psi by 3k and no problem hitting 20psi in 1st gear on a safe home tune.

The transient response and power curve felt n/a it just pulled harder and harder. No noticeable hit of power like a single scroll garrett setup.

No idea on power with mine but it would light up 1st thro third and wouldve gone 4th but never tried.

PBMS swear by the factory STi headers and say if you've been unsuccessful at finding STi one's the Legacy headers are your next best bet. Aftermarket headers are apparently 9/10 times worse than the factory ones due to going to large on the pipe diameter, slowing down EGV's (exhaust gas velocity)etc.

Personally I'd do what EvoWRX is saying and get either Legacy headers (or STi) and fashion up an up-pipe to similar pipe sizes are factory, then a Murch Holset. Speak to him about what you're wanting to do and he'll be able to sort you right.

Either that or buy the up-pipe/WG/turbo combo that EvoWRX has :P

You also don't need to go dual WG's either, you can merge it to a singular WG with no issues.

I think the Borg's are too over priced (albeit fantastic bit of kit) considering you can have a Holset do EXACTLY the same.

Holset like a small runner. Pretty much every other turbo needs a decent sized runner. Perrin have done back to back testing pretty sure 600kw is where the big runner makes a difference otherwise stick with the sti header.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
